About the role
Responsibilities
- Operate software running the robotic factory and fleet of delivery vehicles on solar construction sites
- Troubleshoot, resolve, and document electromechanical issues in the field
- Assign tasks to field team members for efficient material loading
- Collaborate with engineering teams to improve factory user experience and build efficiency
Requirements
- Availability for full-time field travel
- Engineering or technical degree in Computer Science, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Robotics, Mechatronics, or related field
- Proficiency with programming, networking, and command line workflows
- Ability to perform mechanical troubleshooting on industrial automation hardware (robotic arms, conveyors, motors, actuators)
- Ability to lift 50lbs
- Strong critical thinking skills and ability to work in tough physical conditions
Preferred Qualifications
- Familiarity with finite-state machines
- Experience with industrial automation equipment
- Experience working on construction sites
