Robotic Clinical Fellow - Colorectal Surgery

Responsibilities

• Provide operative exposure in theatre for elective and emergency laparoscopic and robotic colorectal work
• Manage postoperative care of inpatients
• Conduct outpatient clinics including one-stop flexible sigmoidoscopy services
• Manage day case surgery
• Engage in research, publications, and multicentre trials

Requirements

• Full GMC registration with a licence to practice
• Completion of Surgical Training (CCT) or within 6 months of completion
• MBBS or equivalent
• FRCS or equivalent
• ATLS certification
• Significant experience in General Surgery and Colorectal Surgery
• Experience in laparoscopic colorectal surgery
• Track record of publications and clinical research

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working within the NHS
• Higher degree or research experience
• Evidence of participation in audit
