Robot Teleoperator and Data Specialist

Responsibilities

• Teleoperate humanoid systems and robotic arms to execute specific movements and tasks for data capture
• Evaluate recorded videos and datasets to ensure they meet rigorous technical standards for AI training
• Perform hands-on hardware maintenance, including assembly and minor repairs of robot arms
• Analyze video feeds to identify discrete actions and determine precise temporal boundaries
• Categorize objects and describe spatial relationships with extreme linguistic and spatial precision

Requirements

• BS/BA in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field
• Experience building, configuring, or operating humanoid robots
• Proficiency with Windows, Ubuntu, VSCode, and basic Git workflows
• Basic Python competency, specifically the ability to read error messages and parse system logs
• Strong spatial reasoning and advanced spatial awareness
• Ability to stand in various postures for several hours and lift up to 50 lbs

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience annotating Vision Language Models (VLM)
• Experience with hardware setup, including mounting cameras and troubleshooting device connectivity
