Robot Safety Operator

Responsibilities

• Monitor and control robotic systems to ensure adherence to safety protocols
• Intervene in real time when unsafe behavior or unexpected events occur
• Conduct pre-task safety inspections and maintain secure testing environments
• Record safety events and performance data to support continuous improvement

Requirements

• Associate or Bachelor’s degree, or equivalent experience
• Strong situational awareness and attention to detail
• Ability to stand and move for extended periods
• Ability to follow safety procedures and work independently
• Good communication skills and a collaborative attitude

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with robotic systems, automation, or lab safety operations
• Familiarity with industrial or collaborative robot safety standards
• Experience with safety equipment such as interlocks, E-stops, or sensors
• Basic familiarity with computer software interfaces and tools (Linux, bash)
