About the Company

Rhoda AI is building the next generation of generalist intelligent robots. They own the full robotics stack, from high-performance hardware to state-of-the-art foundation world models, aiming to make generalist robotics a reality.

Responsibilities

• Collect high-quality robot training data by teleoperating robotic systems using VR equipment and hand controllers
• Meet daily performance expectations for data collection throughput, quality, and consistency
• Follow task specifications and SOPs precisely and maintain discipline around experiment changes
• Support evaluations by running structured evaluation protocols alongside researchers and reporting results
• Troubleshoot and report issues with robot hardware, software, and teleop tooling
• Perform basic operational maintenance including workspace resets, calibration checks, and component swaps
• Participate in process improvements to increase data collection efficiency
• Occasional travel to customer or partner sites to support on-site data collection

Requirements

• Strong VR or controller proficiency (e.g., VR gaming or real-time control experience)
• Ability to maintain focus while operating in VR for extended periods
• Comfort working hands-on with robotics equipment in a lab environment
• Proficiency with Linux and command line tools
• Ability to debug routine issues and write detailed bug reports
• Reliable attendance for a fixed full-time shift
• Physical ability to stand/sit for extended periods and lift up to 30 lbs

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with robotics systems, lab work, automation, or manufacturing
• Experience supporting structured experiments or evaluations with researchers
• Experience collecting teleop demonstration data for robots or simulators
