Robot Field Operator

Responsibilities

• Oversee and operate mobile robotic systems within production environments
• Observe task workflows and provide feedback to software development teams
• Monitor and manage robot task performance to meet production targets
• Manually intervene to correct mishandled robotic tasks
• Execute routine and preventative maintenance on robotic hardware and electromechanical systems
• Conduct first-level software triage and report findings to engineering teams

Requirements

• B.S. in Robotics, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field
• OR Associate's degree in engineering plus 4 years of hands-on experience with robotic/electromechanical systems
• Proficiency in C++ and Python
• Familiarity with ROS2 and Linux-based environments
• Knowledge of robotics networking protocols such as CANOpen, EtherCAT, or UART
• Ability to use mechanical and electrical tools like multi-meters and crimpers
• Ability to work in non-climate-controlled warehouse environments

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience deploying robotic systems in field or production environments
• Familiarity with safety-critical or real-time software systems
