Roadway, Traffic Signals, and Lighting Trainee

Responsibilities

• Assist with installation of traffic signal components, roadway lighting systems, and underground conduit systems
• Load, unload, and stage materials, tools, and equipment
• Assist with digging, trenching, backfilling, and site preparation
• Handle and organize materials safely and efficiently
• Follow direction from Technicians, Electricians, and Foremen

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED preferred
• Basic mechanical aptitude
• Strong work ethic and dependability
• Ability to work in a team environment
• Safety awareness and willingness to follow procedures

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior construction experience
