Road Safety Educator

Responsibilities

• Develop, deliver and coordinate road safety education programs and initiatives nationwide
• Conduct road safety awareness presentations and workshops to schools, higher education institutions, and businesses
• Create engaging and interactive educational materials such as brochures and videos
• Provide training and guidance to teachers, parents, and other stakeholders
• Participate in community events and campaigns to raise awareness about road safety
• Keep up-to-date with current road safety trends and research

Requirements

• Tertiary-level qualification in education or training
• Minimum of two years' experience in teaching or training
• Full clean driving license in category B with access to a personal vehicle
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Teams)
• Excellent communication skills with ability to engage all age groups
• Knowledge of data protection compliance and child protection issues
• Fluency in English (Irish language is an advantage)

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in delivering learning in a fun, animated, and interactive way
• Ability to manage schedules effectively for nationwide service delivery
