RN/LPN Night Shift Nurse

Responsibilities

• Accurately assess, communicate, and document residents’ status
• Observe and report significant changes in resident behavior and health to the Resident Care Director, physician, and family
• Direct and supervise the daily work assignments of Resident Care Assistants
• Mentor and guide Lead Resident Care Assistants in all aspects of their roles
• Coordinate care needs with community providers via effective case management
• Balance service demands with supporting resident independence
• Recognize and assist in the prevention of elder abuse, neglect, and exploitation
• Respond to emergencies and personal emergency response systems

Requirements

• Current state license as an LPN or RN
• Valid CPR certification
• Graduate of an approved nursing program
• 1-2 years of nursing experience preferred

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience working with the elderly in a paid or volunteer position
