Responsibilities

• Deliver nursing care responsibly and accountably as described by the American Nurses Association (ANA) and the State of Michigan
• Utilize the nursing process to perform assessment, diagnosis, outcomes identification, planning, implementation, and evaluation
• Support various patient populations by floating to the unit of greatest need each day at Butterworth and Blodgett Hospitals
• Uphold professional standards including ethical practice, communication, collaboration, and evidence-based practice
• Strive to achieve optimal patient outcomes through critical thinking and high-quality clinical care

Requirements

• Associate degree in Nursing (ADN) required
• Bachelor’s in Nursing (BSN) required within 5 years of hire
• Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of Michigan
• Minimum of 2 years of inpatient RN experience
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required within 90 days
