RN-Practice Manager

Responsibilities

• Plan, organize, and direct essential patient care functions for the clinic(s) in collaboration with leadership.
• Select, train, orient, coach, evaluate, and counsel clinical and non-clinical office staff.
• Manage clinic budgets and monitor business metrics to ensure sound fiscal management and goal alignment.
• Implement operational changes to satisfy local, state, and national regulatory requirements, maintaining readiness for Joint Commission and DHS surveys.
• Ensure high levels of employee, patient, and physician satisfaction through effective communication and relationship management.
• Monitor daily scheduling to optimize patient flow and reduce wait times.
• Oversee electronic medical records (EMR) worklists and MyChart messages to ensure timely staff responses.
• Assist with direct patient care, including rooming patients, entering health information, and administering injections as needed.
• Maintain clinic supplies and ensure compliance with National Patient Safety Goals and lab quality checks.

Requirements

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) or Master’s in Nursing.
• Current California Registered Nurse (RN) license.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association (AHA).
• Four years of clinical RN experience in an acute care setting.

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience in a medical office setting.
• Prior leadership or management experience.
