Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality patient care including assessment, treatment, planning, and care evaluation
- Establish priorities to organize daily activities and maintain efficient patient flow
- Triage patient phone calls following established guidelines to identify health concerns
- Administer prescribed medications and provide patient education
- Document health information, interventions, and outcomes in the electronic medical record
- Delegate patient care activities using the five rights of delegation
- Apply nursing process principles to make sound clinical judgments and decisions
Requirements
- Associate Degree or Diploma in Nursing from an accredited School of Nursing
- Current New Hampshire Board of Nursing license
- AHA Basic Life Support for Healthcare Providers or Red Cross CPR/AED certification
- Demonstrated ability to interact effectively with multi-disciplinary staff and patients
