RN Clinical Nurse Educator

Responsibilities

• Design and deliver engaging clinical education programs for RNs and CNAs
• Facilitate orientation and onboarding for new caregivers
• Provide hands-on instruction, skills training, and competency validation
• Partner with unit leaders to strengthen the preceptor experience and mentor new nurses
• Serve as a clinical resource providing real-time coaching to support critical thinking
• Collaborate with nurse managers to identify educational needs and support retention efforts

Requirements

• Current Montana RN license or multistate compact license
• Strong inpatient nursing experience
• Excellent communication, coaching, and relationship-building skills

Preferred Qualifications

• BSN degree or Master's degree in Nursing or a related field
• Five or more years of Medical/Surgical or Acute Care nursing experience
• Three or more years of experience as a preceptor, charge nurse, educator, or clinical leader
• Specialty certification or Nursing Professional Development certification
