RN Biosurgery Clinical Educator

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical assessments on adjunctive hemostat device needs, risks, and implementation recommendations to surgical teams and healthcare professionals
• Educate OR nurses, technicians, and physicians on proper techniques and product utilization
• Develop and maintain strong working relationships with surgical leadership and clinicians within the assigned territory
• Conduct pilot account assessments and present findings and recommendations to management
• Assist field sales teams in collecting product utilization and performance data to support business cases
• Present continuing education programs and clinical data outcomes to clinical and leadership groups
• Identify Key Opinion Leaders and upgrade opportunities to support US Marketing efforts

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree (Nursing, Business, or a related field preferred)
• Valid RN license in your state of residency
• Minimum of 5 years of clinical experience
• Minimum of 3 years of Operating Room (OR) experience
• Strong group presentation skills and experience delivering clinical education
• Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel)
• Valid driver's license
• Ability to travel approximately 75%

Preferred Qualifications

• Specialty CNOR certification or a related clinical specialty
• Familiarity with AORN Surgical Smoke Safety Guidelines
