RN Biosurgery Clinical Educator

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical assessments on adjunctive hemostat device needs, risks, and implementation recommendations to surgical teams and healthcare professionals
• Educate OR nurses, technicians, and physicians on proper techniques and product utilization
• Develop and maintain strong working relationships with surgical leadership and clinicians
• Conduct pilot account assessments and present findings and recommendations to management
• Assist field sales in collecting product utilization and performance data to support business cases
• Present continuing education programs to clinical and leadership groups within assigned accounts
• Collaborate with US Marketing to identify Key Opinion Leaders and provide clinical data presentations

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree (Nursing, Business, or related field preferred)
• Valid RN license in state of residency
• Minimum of 5 years of clinical experience
• Minimum of 3 years of Operating Room (OR) experience
• Strong group presentation skills and ability to deliver formal clinical education
• Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel)
• Valid driver's license
• Ability to travel approximately 75%

Preferred Qualifications

• Specialty CNOR certification or related specialty certification
• Familiarity with AORN Surgical Smoke Safety Guidelines
