RME Operator

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance checks on a variety of equipment following safe work practices
• Replace spare parts on equipment according to standard operating procedures
• Conduct machinery inspections, jam clearing, and testing to maintain system uptime
• Use laptops, tablets, and basic workshop tools to manage work orders and technical tasks
• Maintain a safe working environment by following all safety regulations and policies
• Support the Reliability Maintenance & Engineering (RME) team in day-to-day operations

Requirements

• One year of experience as a Blue Badge Amazon Employee
• 1+ years of technical problem-solving experience
• Experience with mechanical and electrical systems
• Basic mathematics knowledge
• Ability to lift up to 49lbs
• Ability to stand and walk for shifts lasting up to 12 hours
• Ability to climb ladders and gangways, and perform regular bending, stretching, and reaching

Preferred Qualifications

• Technical education in a related field
• Associate degree in Mechatronics or High School CTE in Mechatronics
• Experience working on an Amazon Robotics Floor
• Experience working as an Amazon Amnesty Floor Monitor
