Riveting Process Engineer

Responsibilities

• Coordinate the "Structural Riveting" special process at the Valenciennes site.
• Ensure industrial mastery of products throughout their entire lifecycle, from design to warranty follow-up.
• Supervise the qualification of new fastening systems and assembly solutions.
• Contribute to the design and industrialization phases of structural assembly processes.
• Train and coach operators to ensure operational excellence and skill development.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including design, industrialization, manufacturing, and warranty departments.
• Participate in monthly meetings with riveting coordinators from other group sites to share expertise.
• Resolve complex technical issues related to structural riveting.

Requirements

• Engineering degree in mechanics or an equivalent field.
• 5+ years of industrial experience with recognized expertise in structural assemblies and riveting.
• Proficiency in English is essential for collaborating in an international environment.
• Strong coaching and training skills to support operator development.
• Proficiency with industrial IT systems and software.
• Excellent synthesis and communication skills to advocate for technical specialties.
