Risk Specialist III

Responsibilities

• Design and build risk dashboards covering KPIs, KRIs, portfolio quality, provisions, and risk appetite.
• Develop periodic reports with executive narratives, highlighting key movements, drivers, and recommendations.
• Implement data quality controls including completeness, consistency, reconciliation, and reasonableness tests.
• Maintain metric definitions, business rules, and documentation to ensure data lineage and audit readiness.
• Build curated datasets, pipelines, and transformations using Databricks (Spark SQL / PySpark).
• Optimize data job performance, partitioning, and automation to ensure reliability and cost control.
• Support the certification and validation of risk numbers and KRIs before official publication.
• Propose and implement AI use cases to improve productivity and reporting quality.

Requirements

• Experience in BI, analytics, or reporting within banking or financial services, ideally in credit risk or risk finance.
• Experience working in controlled reporting environments with multiple stakeholders (Risk, Finance, Tech, Compliance).
• Strong understanding of credit risk metrics and provisions.
• Advanced SQL and Python skills for automation and validation.
• Proficiency with Databricks/Spark (PySpark or Spark SQL).
• Experience with BI tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or Qlik, including semantic modeling.
• Knowledge of Git and documentation best practices.
• Strong attention to detail, analytical rigor, and data storytelling capabilities.
