Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Chemical Engineering, 3-6 years experience in LNG risk & safety engineering, Proficiency in Aspen HYSYS, PHAST 2D, Safeti, and Pipenet, Experience with CFD modeling (ANSYS FLUENT/FLACS)

About the role
Responsibilities
- Develop Dropped Object Risk Assessment, Failure Risks Scenarios, SIMOPS Study, and Materials Handling Study
- Conduct Environmental Risk Assessment (ERA), FMEA, RAM Study, and Ship Collision Study Reports
- Perform Fire Risk Analysis and Dimensioning Accidental Load (DAL) reports
- Develop complete QRA using Safeti software, including gas dispersion and FERA studies
- Perform Single Point Failure Analysis, RAM studies, and ALARP assessments
- Conduct Escape, Evacuation and Rescue Analysis (EERA) and Emergency System Survivability Studies (ESSA)
- Execute CFD Modeling using ANSYS FLUENT and FLACS
- Carry out PFDs & P&IDs, review HAZID/HAZOP, and SIL assessment studies
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Chemical Engineering
- 3 to 6 years of experience in Risk & safety engineering/design for LNG regasification terminals
- Proficiency in Aspen HYSYS, PHAST 2D, Safeti, and Pipenet software
- Experience with CFD tools like ANSYS FLUENT and FLACS
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working in a consulting firm
