Risk Reporting & SSRS Solutions Developer

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain complex SSRS reports, including parameterized, drill-through, and subscription-based layouts.
• Build complex report logic using T-SQL, stored procedures, and optimized datasets for high-volume risk reporting.
• Partner with data engineering and risk analytics teams to define reporting data models and validate data accuracy.
• Manage SSRS job scheduling, subscriptions, and distribution workflows to ensure reliable report delivery.
• Implement monitoring, alerting, and incident triage to maintain production reporting reliability and meet SLAs.
• Embed auditability, lineage, and validation controls within reporting solutions to meet regulatory requirements.
• Collaborate with risk stakeholders and product partners to clarify requirements and manage delivery status.

Requirements

• Deep hands-on experience with SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS), including complex layouts and subscriptions.
• Advanced SQL Server and T-SQL skills, specifically query optimization for high-volume workloads.
• 3+ years of experience in reporting, data analytics, or risk technology roles.
• Understanding of risk data and financial reporting concepts such as market, credit, or liquidity risk.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field.
• Experience supporting production reporting environments with strict control expectations.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with custom risk reporting for clients or regulatory bodies.
• Familiarity with SQL Server data marts, Snowflake, or enterprise risk data platforms.
• Exposure to .NET for report utilities or SSRS extensions.
• Experience with other reporting platforms such as Tableau or Power BI.
• Knowledge of reporting modernization patterns like shared semantic layers or API-based delivery.
