Risk Mitigation Specialist

Responsibilities

• Prepare, implement, and oversee complex risk management strategies (RMSs) to address business and security risk indicators.
• Manage and oversee a portfolio of companies operating under mitigation protocols.
• Provide technical direction, coaching, and mentoring to Government and Contractor staff regarding mitigation measures and residual risks.
• Conduct peer reviews of risk management documents and identify areas for workflow or product format improvements.
• Monitor individual and team performance metrics against established key performance indicators (KPIs).
• Participate in and brief internal and external customers at conferences and meetings regarding the risk management mission.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in a related field.
• Minimum 8 years of experience in risk management, risk treatment, or compliance (e.g., law, finance, security, or audits).
• Minimum 8 years of experience applying data analysis, trend analysis, and problem-solving techniques.
• Minimum 8 years of experience in strategic communications, including preparing written reports and delivering briefings.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools and navigating technology at both classified and unclassified levels.
• TS/SCI eligibility is required.

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior experience in risk analysis or mitigation.
• Previous experience supporting the Defense Counterintelligence and Security Agency (DCSA).
