Risk Manager

Responsibilities

• Monitor the credit exposure of the company portfolio in relation to established policies and guidelines
• Provide direct support to the Account Management group in evaluating and analyzing customer credit risk
• Review credit information to make decisions regarding credit limits and holds for existing customers
• Analyze portfolio-level information to identify key risk factors and develop proposed solutions
• Develop and evaluate various models used for setting credit ratings and scores
• Establish close working relationships with Account Management and Treasury functions
• Identify and communicate potential policy or operational improvements to enhance credit quality
• Perform ad-hoc analysis of customer portfolios and report findings to Executive management

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Business, or a related field
• At least 3 years of credit or risk experience
• Minimum of 5 years of overall professional experience
• Strong analytical and quantitative skills
• Experience in managing projects
• Excellent presentation, communication, and interpersonal skills

Preferred Qualifications

• MBA, CFA, or CPA designation
• Prior management experience
