Risk Management Operational Risk Officer

Responsibilities

• Provide Second Line of Defense risk oversight for the State Street India risk landscape
• Drive effective risk governance and oversee business functions within the First Line of Defense
• Provide independent challenge to risk assessment programs performed by First Line teams
• Identify emerging risks by monitoring trends in key risk indicators and incident management
• Aggregate and monitor risk exposures across India, escalating significant risks to Global Risk Committees
• Coordinate with business units on risk mitigation efforts and design effective remediation plans for operational risk events
• Assist in the review of quarterly risk reports, dashboards, and India Risk Reports

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent
• Minimum of 6 years of risk management experience
• Minimum of 10 years of experience within financial institutions
• Strong data analysis and data interpretation skills
• Proficiency in MS Office suite
• Excellent communication and presentation skills for interacting with senior executives

Preferred Qualifications

• MBA or CIA qualification
• Relevant professional qualifications in risk management
• Experience working in a Risk Advisory practice with Big 4 firms
• Knowledge of Tableau
