Risk Management Associate

Responsibilities

• Own and prepare materials for monthly Investment Policy Review (IPR) meetings, ensuring accuracy and timely delivery.
• Run daily, weekly, and monthly risk monitors and generate risk reports to analyze metrics and communicate findings to stakeholders.
• Assist in the development and enhancement of risk management frameworks, including the creation of analytical tools and dashboards.
• Provide day-to-day support to the Risk function through data aggregation, analytics, and ad-hoc reporting.
• Drive automation and workflow efficiencies within existing risk products and processes.
• Prepare and submit risk reports to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and support new compliance initiatives.

Requirements

• At least 4 years of experience in the investment management industry.
• Strong programming experience in Python and data visualization solutions such as Tableau.
• Strong understanding of fixed income products and markets.
• Strong quantitative and analytical skills, including statistical analysis and mathematical solvers/optimizers.
• Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and VBA coding.
• Ability to multi-task, manage priorities, and work both independently and as a team player.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience developing analytical dashboards or tools.
• Familiarity with risk management frameworks.
• Advanced degree such as an MBA or CFA.
