Risk Management Analyst

Responsibilities

• Analyze raw workers’ compensation data to identify claim trends, patterns, and cost drivers
• Develop and present statistical reports, dashboards, and visual analytics to communicate findings
• Provide actionable recommendations to improve workers’ compensation outcomes and return-to-work programs
• Advise clients on compliance with FEHA and the Interactive Process for industrial-related disabilities
• Support the implementation and expansion of medical provider networks to maximize cost savings
• Collaborate with claims teams to ensure proactive management and participate in file reviews
• Coordinate and deliver client training sessions on risk management best practices and medical cost containment

Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years of experience handling workers’ compensation claims or related consulting
• At least 2 years of experience in Risk Management or an equivalent combination of education and experience
• Strong understanding of workers’ compensation laws and regulations
• Demonstrated experience developing and implementing Return-to-Work programs and FEHA compliance
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with experience presenting to groups

Preferred Qualifications

• Property & Casualty Insurance background
• Self-Insurance Certificate
• Knowledge of the Education Code as it relates to industrial accident leaves
