Risk Lead

Responsibilities

• Implement or support an integrated risk management framework across a major capital programme
• Facilitate identification, assessment, and prioritisation of threats, opportunities, and issues
• Maintain visibility of threat/opportunity trigger points for risk cost profiling
• Use risk data to inform investment planning
• Assist with identifying and recording measurable management responses
• Monitor overall risk exposure against the remaining risk budget
• Work with contractors to assess contractor-held and client-held risks
• Produce timely risk reports to communicate threat and opportunity status
• Conduct quantitative risk assessment (cost and schedule) to inform project contingency levels

Requirements

• Qualitative and quantitative risk assessment expertise
• Understanding of integrated risk management (risk, cost, and schedule) on large programmes
• Experience in risk workshop facilitation
• Proficiency in probabilistic modelling tools such as @risk, PRA, or Safran
• Proficiency in P6 or equivalent
• Familiarity with web-based database tools like ARM, Predict, or Tableau
• Proven experience in a risk delivery role on major infrastructure or construction projects
• Must be a British National and hold a UK Passport
• Ability to hold or obtain valid Security Clearance (SC)

Preferred Qualifications

• Degree qualified in a construction-related subject
• APM or IRM risk certification
