Risk Investigator

Responsibilities

• Prevent and detect potential fraud across all payment channels by reviewing customer accounts
• Analyze data to identify patterns related to fraud, AML, identity theft, KYC, and non-compliant activity
• Proactively identify fraud risks and recommend enhanced controls to manage them
• Collaborate with operations, finance, risk analytics, compliance, and technology teams
• Monitor high-risk users and merchants to identify fraud patterns
• Contribute to the creation of fraud rules using analytical data
• Monitor fraud alerts daily and provide updates on new trends to senior management
• Facilitate weekly stakeholder calls to ensure information flow and mitigation deliverables

Requirements

• 2-3 years of experience in risk operations, fraud investigations, or fraud risk analytics
• Proven experience in Risk management and Fraud domains
• Strong oral and written communication skills
• Ability to work independently and coordinate with various stakeholders
• Basic working knowledge of MS Office and SQL
• Any graduate or postgraduate degree

Preferred Qualifications

• Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE) designation
