Risk Investigator

Responsibilities

• Prevent and detect potential fraud across all payment channels by reviewing customer accounts
• Analyze data to identify patterns related to fraud, AML, identity theft, KYC, and non-compliant activity
• Proactively identify fraud risks and recommend enhanced controls to manage such risks
• Monitor fraud alerts daily and take necessary actions to protect customers
• Identify fraud patterns through the monitoring of high-risk users and merchants
• Contribute to the creation of fraud rules by providing analytical data to support decisions
• Collaborate with operations, finance, settlements, risk analytics, compliance, and technology teams
• Provide daily updates on new fraud trends to senior management

Requirements

• 2-3 years of relevant experience in risk operations, fraud investigations, or fraud risk analytics
• Proven expertise in the domain of Risk management and Fraud
• Strong oral and written communication skills
• Ability to work independently and coordinate with various internal and external stakeholders
• Graduate or Post-Graduate degree
• Basic working knowledge of MS Office and SQL

Preferred Qualifications

• Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE) designation is an added advantage
