Risk & Insurance Manager

Responsibilities

• Define and execute risk management approaches to ensure long-term resilience and financial stability
• Lead the procurement and management of robust, scalable, and cost-effective corporate insurance programmes
• Partner with cross-functional leaders to assess evolving risk scenarios and develop mitigation solutions
• Manage and mentor a team of specialists, fostering a high-performance culture
• Navigate complex regulatory landscapes to ensure compliance with global standards and industry best practices

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in risk management, corporate insurance, insurance procurement, or brokerage
• 1+ years of experience managing direct reports or a small team of specialists
• Proven strategic leadership skills with the ability to align senior stakeholders
• Exceptional analytical skills to assess complex risks and develop proactive strategies
• Excellent communication and influence skills to explain complex concepts to executives

Preferred Qualifications

• Professional certifications such as ARM or CPCU
• Experience navigating risk within a three-sided marketplace or gig-economy model
