Risk Engineer

Responsibilities

• Manage and support projects within the Risk Team portfolio ensuring compliance with quality, cost, and contractual requirements
• Facilitate and chair qualitative risk studies such as HAZIDs, HAZOPs, and FMEAs
• Lead or support Quantitative Risk Assessments (QRAs)
• Perform technical reviews of risk assessments completed by team members
• Conduct activities in accordance with internal procedures, accreditation schemes, and industry standards
• Support organizational development through coaching and knowledge transfer

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in science, engineering, project management, or a related field
• Extensive knowledge of qualitative and quantitative risk assessment techniques
• 10+ years of risk management experience in oil & gas, energy, or infrastructure sectors
• Experience facilitating or chairing risk workshops
• Proficiency in English with strong technical report writing skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Knowledge of QRA software such as PHAST or SAFETI
• Project management experience with engineering and commercial knowledge
