Risk Cost Analyst

Responsibilities

• Assist in gathering data for risk and cost assessments across project processes
• Support the monitoring of project cost drivers, market factors, and external conditions
• Perform preliminary analyses using qualitative and quantitative methods, including cost modeling and scenario analysis
• Assist in integrating risk findings into cost estimates, forecasts, and contingency planning
• Support the development and tracking of risk mitigation strategies
• Prepare draft reports, presentations, and summaries for senior review
• Maintain organized records of risk registers and cost assessments
• Provide general administrative and analytical support for risk and cost management processes

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, construction management, finance, business, or related field
• 3+ years of experience in risk, cost, or project support roles on large (> $500M) heavy-civil infrastructure projects
• Experience supporting detailed budgets, change-order logs, and cost forecasts
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite/Office 365
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Excellent multi-tasking and organizational skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Master’s degree in engineering, construction management, finance, or business
• Active professional certifications (CCM, MRICS/FRICS, PMP, or CCA)
• Experience in risk, cost, or project support roles on rail transit projects
• Familiarity with schedule risk analysis tools (e.g., @Risk, Primavera Risk Analysis, Deltek Acumen, Safran Risk)
• Proficiency with Microsoft Power BI, Oracle Cloud Analytics, or other dashboard KPI reporting software
