Risk & Control Manager

Responsibilities

• Strengthen the 2LOD risk management framework to ensure alignment with regulatory expectations and business strategy
• Execute oversight activities of the First Line, assessing risk identification, control design, and management quality
• Act as a trusted advisor to business teams and stakeholders on risk topics and regulatory changes
• Drive insightful risk reporting for senior management and governance committees by surfacing key exposures and gaps
• Support regulatory engagement by providing subject matter expertise on risk and control matters

Requirements

• 5-7 years of experience in a regulated financial services environment (FinTech, banking, or payments)
• At least 3 years of dedicated experience in risk or control management
• Solid understanding of credit risk assessment and management
• Proven ability to influence and constructively challenge stakeholders on complex risk topics
• Pragmatic, solutions-oriented mindset with the ability to translate risk concepts into practical language

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working in both a FinTech environment and a traditional banking or payments institution
• Hands-on experience spanning both First Line (1LOD) and Second Line (2LOD) functions
