Risk, Control & Compliance Manager

Responsibilities

• Lead and inspire the centre team and external security services to optimize safety, security, and compliance.
• Identify business unit safety hazards and implement preventive and control measures.
• Develop and implement operating procedures and standards in accordance with local legislation and Ikano requirements.
• Manage the performance of outsourced security service providers and on-site supervisors.
• Ensure compliance in fire prevention, intrusion alarms, access control, and video surveillance.
• Coordinate with the Emergency Response Team and manage emergency cases according to the unit plan.
• Represent the brand with external agencies such as Police and Fire Brigade.
• Drive a Risk & Compliance culture by identifying systems to reduce business loss and prevent accidents.
• Lead engagement with external authorities like Bomba to ensure statutory fire safety compliance.
• Manage the safety and security budget for Opex and Capex.

Requirements

• Bachelor's or master's degree in occupational health/safety, Environmental Engineering, or a related field.
• 10+ years of experience in a similar compliance or risk role within retail or related industries.
• Minimum 3+ years of experience at a managerial level.
• Experience with incident reporting and insurance claims handling.
• Experience managing FCC and security guards.
• Experience in crisis management, fire drills, and investigating fraud or unethical behavior.
• Experience in strategic planning, budgeting, and goal setting.
