Risk Application Support Advisor

Responsibilities

• Detect, troubleshoot, and resolve production issues across UNIX/Linux clusters and Java-based platforms to maintain service continuity and meet SLAs
• Provide 24x7 on-call production support and incident resolution for risk applications, including web services and batch job monitoring
• Deploy, validate, and manage application releases in collaboration with Development, QA, and Change Management teams
• Build and maintain automation and monitoring tools using scripts and integrations like Splunk, Dynatrace, or ExtraHop to reduce mean time to resolution
• Drive reliability improvements through capacity planning, performance tuning, and the execution of Risk Disaster Recovery Plans

Requirements

• 10+ years of hands-on UNIX/Linux and Java production application support experience, including shell scripting and Oracle SQL operations
• 5+ years of experience supporting middleware/app servers (e.g., Apache, WebSphere, WebLogic, or JBoss) and schedulers (e.g., Control-M or AutoSys)
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or an equivalent field
• Proven experience with CI/CD pipelines and configuration management
• Proficiency in at least three of the following: NoSQL/Coherence, monitoring tools (Splunk/Dynatrace), automation (UIPath/Blue Prism), Agile/DevOps, or ITIL production support

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience supporting Oracle GoldenGate in a deployment or operational capacity
• Experience delivering projects using RPA and automation tools such as Automation Anywhere or Blue Prism
• Practical exposure supporting risk platforms like Falcon, Feedzai, or Case Management within the financial services industry
