Risk and Control Manager

Responsibilities

• Manage organizational risk and support the management team in risk identification and assessment
• Drive development and delivery of remedial action plans with senior stakeholders
• Design Internal Controls Review Procedures and Work Programs
• Evaluate adequacy and effectiveness of operational and financial controls across the merchant life cycle
• Provide regular exception reports and analyze risk reporting metrics
• Support Risk Control Self Assessments and ensure timely closure of Assurance actions
• Educate teams on operational risk frameworks and conduct risk obligations
• Monitor industry trends, regulatory changes, and business issues impacting self-certification

Requirements

• Ability to assess business financial and credit risk for specific portfolios
• Knowledge of the Indian payment ecosystem and financial products
• Proficiency in financial and risk analysis and problem-solving
• Experience with implementing IT systems
• Knowledge of data analytics and reporting
• Strong numerical and financial planning skills
• BSc/BA in Business, Computer Science, or a relevant field
