About the role
Responsibilities
- Lead and develop a team of risk professionals, fostering a supportive environment through coaching and mentorship.
- Identify technology-related risks across core DevOps platforms, including public cloud (AWS, GCP, Azure) and on-premise infrastructure.
- Advise technical stakeholders on IT risk, cybersecurity, and regulatory compliance, providing sustainable control design proposals.
- Embed secure software development principles and tooling (SAST, DAST, SCA) into CI/CD pipelines and BAU development practices.
- Formulate and implement tactical plans for Platform Risk Management aligned with Central Tech business objectives.
- Drive risk and compliance awareness across the business unit to ensure security without significantly impacting development velocity.
- Collaborate with second-line risk teams and internal/external auditors to ensure alignment with enterprise risk management strategies.
Requirements
- 8-12 years of relevant experience in risk, control, or audit/assurance.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in a relevant field.
- Deep expertise in IT General Controls (ITGCs), particularly within fast-paced DevOps environments.
- Strong understanding of technology risk management for public cloud platforms and DevOps tooling.
- Working knowledge of regulatory frameworks including GDPR, PCI-DSS, SOX, and CCPA.
- Familiarity with industry-standard cybersecurity frameworks such as NIST, ISO27001, or CIS.
- Knowledge of secure software development practices and security tooling.
- Proven ability to manage people and influence senior technical stakeholders.
Preferred Qualifications
- Technical AWS certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect or AWS Certified Security).
