About the role
Responsibilities
- Conduct enterprise-wide risk assessments across financial, operational, compliance, vendor, and technology domains
- Build and maintain risk models using Python, R, SQL, or SAS
- Perform stress testing, scenario analysis, and trend analysis
- Support compliance with frameworks such as SOX, Basel III, GDPR, and HIPAA
- Test and validate internal controls and operational safeguards
- Monitor incidents using GRC platforms like Archer or ServiceNow
- Build dashboards and reports using Tableau, Power BI, or Looker to present actionable insights to leadership
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in risk analysis, risk management, compliance, audit, or governance
- Strong proficiency with SQL and Excel/Google Sheets
- Experience using GRC platforms (Archer, ServiceNow, or LogicManager)
- Strong understanding of enterprise risk frameworks and regulatory compliance
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment during U.S. business hours
Preferred Qualifications
- Certifications such as FRM, CFA, CPA, or CCEP
- Experience with Value at Risk (VaR) and Monte Carlo simulations
- Industry experience in Financial Services, SaaS, Healthcare, or Fintech
- Experience supporting board-level reporting and audit preparation
