Risk Advisor, Vice President

Responsibilities

• Serve as a senior first-line risk advisor to European Investment Services leadership, providing independent challenge and forward-looking risk insight.
• Oversee regulatory risks across EMEA jurisdictions and emerging risks related to business change initiatives.
• Lead RCSA workshops, including risk rating assessments and control effectiveness reviews.
• Partner with change and transformation programs to embed risk considerations into new product design and implementation.
• Provide proactive risk input into strategic initiatives, client arrangements, and complex transactions.
• Champion the understanding of digital asset products and the application of evolving industry best practices.
• Drive innovation within the Business Risk function, including the adoption of AI and novel technologies.

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience in risk, compliance, or audit functions within the financial services industry.
• Proven expertise in digital asset risk management and a strong understanding of EMEA regulatory frameworks.
• Extensive experience in first-line risk management, including product development and client-facing activities.
• Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, risk management, or a related discipline.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate complex data into decision-useful insights.
• Excellent communication and influencing skills to engage with diverse stakeholders and senior leadership.
