About the role

Responsibilities

  • Perform exploratory analysis, data profiling, cohort segmentation, and KPI analysis to support business questions.
  • Handle large-scale datasets to identify outliers and calculate utilization rates across various geographies.
  • Conduct complex actuarial analysis to assist clients in the research, design, and development of innovation models.
  • Execute predictive data analysis to determine forecast utilization or enrollment seasonality.
  • Evaluate data quality standards, ensuring referential integrity, comprehensiveness, and conformance to expected values.
  • Present analytical findings in a clear, actionable format to project and client leadership.
  • Lead workstreams and mentor team members by providing clear technical guidance.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance.
  • 8+ years of experience in data science, data analysis, or data engineering.
  • 5+ years of advanced Python experience for data manipulation and analysis.
  • 5+ years of experience with Databricks for data engineering.
  • 2+ years of experience in Medicaid/Medicare analysis, rules, and compliance.
  • Ability to travel 10-15% on average.
  • Legal authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master's degree in a quantitative field.
  • Advanced SQL skills.
  • Experience working with large healthcare datasets, including claims, enrollment, providers, and financials.
  • Previous experience in Federal Health sectors.
  • Active Public Trust clearance.
