Right of Way (ROW) Agent

Responsibilities

• Conduct diverse and complex negotiations with landowners regarding land acquisition and rights
• Manage the settlement of complex damage claims related to property damage during construction
• Search courthouse and other public records to determine property ownership and interests
• Advise on and assist in establishing fair market values for land and land rights acquisition
• Draft and supervise the preparation of rights of entry, easements, licenses, leases, and permits
• Ensure compliance with all corporate health and safety policies

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalency required; Bachelor’s Degree preferred
• Minimum of 3 years of Right of Way (ROW) experience
• Knowledge of real estate values and accepted appraisal practices
• Valid driver's license
• Ability to work in remote locations and navigate uneven or steep terrain in variable weather
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, Google Earth, ArcGIS, and data management software
• Strong interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in Oil & Gas, diversified energy, or electric transmission sectors
• Local candidates in the Northern Indiana or Chicago areas
