Rigger

Responsibilities

• Conduct rigging operations in compliance with safety regulations and company policies
• Inspect and maintain rigging equipment to ensure reliability and safety
• Plan and execute lifts by analyzing load requirements and physical constraints
• Collaborate with crew members and other personnel to ensure effective communication
• Implement safety measures to mitigate risks during rigging and lifting activities
• Assist in the preparation and setup of projects, including rigging layouts and load calculations
• Provide training and mentorship to junior riggers and new personnel

Requirements

• Proven experience as a rigger in the oil and energy sector
• Rigging Intermediate or above on High Risk Work Licence
• Strong understanding of safety regulations and compliance standards
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics
• Excellent communication skills and teamwork abilities
• Physical fitness for challenging environmental conditions
• Flexibility to work various schedules including days, nights, and weekends
• Current legal work rights for Australia
