Rig Material Expeditor

Responsibilities

• Adhere to Saudi Aramco, D&WO, and international HSE standards
• Monitor progress and shipment of drilling materials and input order status into systems
• Maintain material and parts inventory to expedite movement between production areas
• Review production schedules, inventory reports, and work orders to determine material requirements
• Distribute materials to production areas manually or using handcarts, hand trucks, or forklifts
• Conduct daily reviews of workload queues to prioritize orders based on delivery dates
• Consolidate orders by vendors to minimize contracts and maintain contact with major vendors
• Identify potential delivery delays early and advise stakeholders
• Ensure orders are delivered in the most cost-effective manner to Saudi Aramco
• Monitor status of material and inspection certificates
• Prepare written reports regarding vendor performance and other requested documentation

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent; relevant certification is a plus
• 2-3 years of experience in material expediting or inventory management, preferably in oil and gas
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and materials management software
• Strong analytical, organizational, and attention to detail skills
• Effective written and verbal communication skills in English
• Familiarity with HSE standards and procedures
• Ability to work in a dynamic offshore work environment
