Sarasota Arthritis Centers is a physician-owned rheumatology practice dedicated exclusively to the diagnosis and treatment of arthritis and autoimmune diseases. By integrating clinical care, research, and infusion services, we provide patients with seamless, specialized care in one location.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate, diagnose, and manage patients with a wide range of rheumatic and autoimmune conditions
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans, including medication management and biologic therapies
• Perform medical procedures such as joint injections and aspirations
• Collaborate with medical assistants, infusion nurses, and advanced practice providers
• Document patient encounters and treatment plans accurately in the EMR system
• Provide clinical guidance and supervision to clinical staff and APPs
• Coordinate care with primary care physicians and other specialists

Requirements

• Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited institution
• Completion of a residency in Internal Medicine
• Completed Fellowship training in Rheumatology
• Board certification in Rheumatology
• Valid and unrestricted medical license in Florida (or ability to obtain one)
• Proficiency in EMR systems
