RHEL Systems Administrator

Responsibilities

• Monitor and maintain Cameo systems, ensuring integrity and accessibility of server resources, hardware, and key processes
• Configure and implement systems using Linux command-line in a cloud environment
• Administer, configure, and troubleshoot user profile issues in a virtual desktop environment
• Monitor and optimize system storage disks on virtual desktops
• Manage user sessions, profiles, groups, and permissions
• Create and maintain technical documentation including SOPs and RunBooks
• Maintain work and change management requests in JIRA within an Agile environment
• Assist security and engineering teams with software versioning, scanning, patching, and ATO compliance

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent with minimum 7 years of related experience
• Proven experience as a Red Hat Systems Administrator
• Strong knowledge of RHEL command line
• Familiarity with XRDP and virtual desktop image creation/deployment
• Knowledge of Cameo NoMagic
• Experience with scripting languages (Bash, Python, or Perl)
• Familiarity with configuration management tools like Ansible or Puppet
• Understanding of networking concepts and protocols
• Working knowledge of JIRA
• IAT Level II Certification
• Active DoD TS/SCI Clearance (U.S. Citizenship required)

Preferred Qualifications

• Red Hat Certified System Administrator (RHCSA)
