RF Systems Technical Project Manager

Responsibilities

• Manage multiple RF systems projects from concept generation through product realization in the wireless communications domain
• Coordinate with project sponsors and senior team members to define and budget for new technology development efforts
• Work with technology leads to define tasks, durations, relationships, and resource loading to create measurable schedules
• Take ownership of cost, schedule, technical performance, and risks associated with assigned efforts
• Act as the primary interface to project sponsors and stakeholders regarding project status and performance
• Interact regularly with suppliers and subcontractors related to technology development projects

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree or better in science, engineering, or a relevant technical field
• 10+ years of industry experience
• 3+ years in a Technical Project Management role
• Technical understanding of RF System development projects, including RFFE design/test, antenna design/test, and digital beamforming system design/test
• Knowledge of processes, tools, and metrics for project monitoring, control, and risk management
• Must meet ITAR requirements (U.S. citizen, permanent resident, refugee, or asylee)

Preferred Qualifications

• Master’s Degree in a relevant technical field
• Demonstrated experience as a Technical Lead or Project Manager in the RF domain
• Exposure to government programs and a current active security clearance
• Experience transitioning technologies from design concept to functioning product
