RF Silicon Software Engineer

Responsibilities

• Design and build unique automated measurement systems for RF/RFIC designs
• Bring up new silicon and perform initial chip power-on
• Develop tools and reusable libraries for instrument control and data analysis
• Analyze measurement data to gain insight into component and system performance
• Create validated reference designs including hardware and software drivers

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or Physics
• 1+ years of experience in software development using C#, Python, or C++
• Willingness to work extended hours and weekends as needed

Preferred Qualifications

• MS or PhD in a relevant engineering or physics field
• Hands-on experience with spectrum analyzers, vector signal analyzers, and network analyzers
• Experience with serial digital communication protocols (SPI, I2C, JTAG, RFFE)
• Proficiency in Python, MATLAB, or JMP for data analysis
• Experience with microcontrollers, FPGAs, or digital signal processing
• Experience designing and assembling quick-turn PCBs
• Knowledge of statistical concepts and multi-threaded application development
