RF Sensing Systems Engineer

Responsibilities

• Participate in systems engineering teams on concurrent development projects for product design and performance
• Translate user needs and customer problem statements into technical requirements and innovative solutions
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop algorithms and validate solutions through modeling and simulation
• Implement advanced signal and image processing algorithms using MATLAB or Python
• Conduct evaluations of state-of-the-art remote sensing systems, including radar and electro-optical systems
• Document and present technical results to teammates and customers

Requirements

• Academic degree in Electrical Engineering, Applied Physics, Applied Mathematics, or Computer Science
• Master's degree plus 2 years of relevant experience (internships or co-ops accepted) or a PhD in a related field
• Demonstrated experience or technical interest in the development of remote sensing technologies
• Proven performance in systems engineering and development
• Proficiency with scientific/engineering development languages such as MATLAB and/or Python
• Strong oral and written communication skills and the ability to work both independently and in a team

Preferred Qualifications

• Active TOP SECRET security clearance; active SCI access is a plus
• Experience with C++ software language and development
