About the role
Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary customer interface for National Security space programs
- Shape new opportunities and architectures through strategic business development
- Oversee program execution from contract award through on-orbit operations
- Lead proposal efforts ensuring technical feasibility and cost-effectiveness
- Collaborate with engineering teams to manage technical changes and mitigate risks
- Lead customer reviews and deliver technical briefings to government stakeholders
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in engineering or science
- 5+ years of experience in program management, systems engineering, or government operations
- Deep understanding of launch vehicles, spacecraft, or aerospace systems
- Active Top Secret or Top Secret SCI clearance
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Master's degree or PhD in engineering or science
- 10+ years of experience in program management or systems engineering
- Experience with spacecraft mission design, development, integration, and test
- Experience working in the US national security community
- Experience with contract negotiations
- Ability to travel up to 25% of the time
