RF Microwave Engineer II (Radar)

Responsibilities

• Design and realize RF passive and active circuits for phased array antennas and large RF systems
• Design and test circuits for receivers, transmitters, local oscillators, and RF subsystems
• Simulate circuit and system performance using analytical software including AWR Microwave Office, VSS, Ansys, CST, and MATLAB
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to realize completed RF electronics and designs
• Guide the testing of RF hardware for performance metrics such as VSWR, insertion loss, power, and G/T
• Design chip and wire components for use in receivers, high-power limiters, and transmitters
• Test and document designs in preparation for production

Requirements

• 6+ years of hands-on RF engineering experience in a practical industry setting
• Proven experience in RF architecture definition, frequency planning, and RF link budget analysis
• Strong background in RF front-end design
• Proficiency in RF simulation tools such as ADS, HFSS, CST, AWR, and MATLAB
• Deep understanding of RF components including LNAs, PAs, mixers, filters, synthesizers, and T/R modules
• Experience in RF testing and debugging using lab equipment including VNA, spectrum analyzers, and signal generators
