RF Mechanical Engineer I

Responsibilities

• Collaborate in a multi-discipline team setting to solve complex engineering problems
• Create 3D CAD models and engineering drawings for RF product designs
• Develop prototype hardware designs and coordinate fabrication
• Perform hands-on integration and test support for prototype hardware
• Hold design and drawing reviews with peers and subject matter experts

Requirements

• Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering or a related STEM major
• U.S. Citizenship is required
• Ability to obtain an interim U.S. government Secret security clearance
• Knowledge or experience in areas such as thermodynamics, heat transfer, vibrations, materials, manufacturing, or mechatronics

Preferred Qualifications

• ABET accreditation and a 3.0 cumulative GPA
• Experience with 3D CAD design, preferably Creo Parametric
• Experience in antenna and/or electronics packaging
• Experience creating engineering drawings and fabricating prototype designs
• Familiarity with Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing (GD&T)
